Word Lines brings that same idea to zaphira.games: a grid of 6 by 8 letters, a theme clue, and your task, find every matching word, whether it runs horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or bends around several corners, each at least four letters long. Hidden in the middle is a Spangram, a single word that sums up the entire theme. That makes Word Lines the newest addition to zaphira.games' word puzzle lineup, alongside Word Match, Spelling Hex, and HelloWords. Find every word, and every letter ends up assigned. Give it a try and crack your first theme of the day.
Tips & Tricks for Word Lines
Tip #1
Scan the Edges First
A Spangram always starts and ends at the edge of the grid. Check the outermost rows and columns first, that's often the fastest way to the answer.

Think Around Corners
Words in Word Lines rarely run in a straight line. They can bend, wind, and change direction more than once. Follow every promising letter chain even around curves.

Use the Theme Clue
The theme clue narrows down countless letter combinations. Read it carefully before you start, and keep it in mind whenever you're unsure which word could fit next.

Hunt for Bonus Words
Words outside the theme still count as bonus words and earn you small extra points. Find three of them, and you unlock a hint that helps you with your next theme word.

1. How Many Words to Expect
Each puzzle usually hides between 5 and 8 theme words, plus the one Spangram. A completely new theme with a fresh grid awaits you every day, so there's never a repeat puzzle.
2. Progress and the Archive
If you're registered on zaphira.games, your progress syncs automatically across your devices. With Zaphira Plus, you also get access to the archive and can replay earlier puzzles anytime.
3. How Your Score Adds Up
A theme word earns you 20 points, and the Spangram is worth 40. Bonus words outside the theme add 3 points, while a used hint costs 5. Your score can never drop below zero.
